I started my career in the printing trades as an apprentice compositor in 1992. With this unique background in printing I could fully appreciate print requirements and how a project would look from the start to the finish.
Moving away from the printing press, I started working in Advertising and Marketing with firms in North Adelaide, where our primary production was catalog work for retail.
I worked in Adelaide up until 2004 when we made the big shift from Adelaide to Jamestown for my husband’s line of work.
Raising a young family in a rural setting has had it’s challenges, I started making 45 minute drives to and from work for the local newspapers and printing establishments in Port Pirie, this became very taxing, and on the arrival of a second daughter I decided to go freelance from home.
For the last 13 years I have been offering Graphic Design services including WordPress websites to the locals of Jamestown and further North and it’s been a great experience meeting new and colourful people with all sorts of different requirements, website, logo, graphic design etc. My favourite line of work is anything Tourism related. I love the Mid North and SA and it is a pleasure to create art that will hopefully draw people to come and appreciate our beautiful state.
